We ordered food for delivery, I ordered the Ruby broth as well as my daughter. The portions are huge! My favorite was the grilled shrimp and seasoned egg, the sweet corn that comes in the kid's meal was a perfect accent to the broth. I'm glad we did not add the extra side of chicken and fries because she couldn't finish and I was pleasantly stuffed 😋.

My daughter and I decided to be a little adventurous and headed to Coppell, Texas, about seven miles from home. Since we were craving ramen, we stumbled upon Rakkan Ramen, and I'm glad we did! The restaurant is located in a very swanky and beautiful area. The inside is elegant, well organized, spotless, and so clean you almost feel guilty leaving footprints. As luck would have it, we accidentally entered through the rear entrance and confidently walked right up to the counter as if we knew exactly what we were doing. We were warmly greeted by Ms. Emily and Ms. Jaime, who were both serving as hostess and waitress. Emily escorted us to a comfortable booth and quickly brought us glasses of water, making us feel right at home. We started with the five-piece Chicken Karaage served with arugula and a slice of lemon for $9.50. The chicken was wonderfully crispy, which I really enjoyed. I squeezed that lemon over every piece, hoping for a little extra magic. While the texture was excellent, I thought the chicken itself could have used a bit more seasoning. Rakkan Ramen was a really enjoyable dinner spot and worked well for a larger group. The atmosphere, service, and food all came together nicely, especially on a Friday night with live entertainment nearby. - Good variety of ramen choices for both vegetarians and non vegetarians - Loved the outdoor seating area - Great location near the stage where there was an outdoor performance on Friday night - Wait staff was very friendly and worked together well as a team, felt like we got better service. - We had a group of eight and everyone enjoyed their ramen, appetizers, and karaage - Pricing felt fair and not overly expensive Overall, it was a fun experience with good food and service, and I would definitely consider going back again.

Update... Went there for dinner 5/20/26 Outside Patio. It was perfect dinner. Enjoyed it.. cost for dinner will be 30-40$ per person. I had small lunch here and didn't expect not much at first. Food that I ordered was really great (well balanced and smoke flavored and pork and rice well mixed. Spicy oil was the kick). Great experience and great vibe.

Really sweet service and the food was excellent. The ramen noodles were perfectly not overcooked and the way that the server recommended pork over chicken was a fun choice. The seaweed is also very tasty and unique. The broth was addictive. They even have chili oil to add heat. The napkins are a great quality so you only need one or two and the chopsticks were a good quality. Happy to have tried this spot.
